Indulge in a Taste of Summer at The George
Taking place on Saturday 15th August, this special evening is all about enjoying a full summer tasting menu for £55 per person, with each course celebrating fresh seasonal ingredients and vibrant summer flavours.
Guests will enjoy the whole menu, starting with Globe Artichoke served with Fenton Farm egg, spinach, morel mushrooms and truffle hollandaise – a delicious first course that’s rich, fresh and full of flavour. Next up is Lobster Tortellini with bisque, parmesan and herb oil, bringing a little extra indulgence to the evening.
The main course is Saltimbocca Monkfish, served with sage, Parma ham, saffron potatoes, broad beans, fresh herbs and velouté – a beautifully summery dish that’s packed with flavour.
To finish, guests can look forward to a double dessert course, beginning with Peach Melba with peach parfait, raspberry and almond, followed by Triple Chocolate Brownie with salted caramel ice cream and chocolate leaf. The evening then rounds off with coffee and shortbread.
