Gurt Wings Are Back at The George in 2026!

We’re very excited to share that the legendary Gurt Wings van will be rolling back into Kempsford for a series of dates at The George in 2026 – bringing their award‑winning fried chicken to our Cotswold doorstep.

Think crispy, juicy, sauce‑drenched wings, loaded sides and plenty of good beer, wine and cider from our bar. Proper comfort food, done right.

2026 Gurt Wings Dates at The George

Gurt Wings will be serving from the van in our car park on the following dates:

• Sunday 5th April – 5pm to 8pm
• Sunday 3rd May – 5pm to 8pm
• Sunday 26th July – 4pm-8pm
• Sunday 30th August – 5pm to 8pm
• Tuesday 15th December – 5pm to 8pm

Food is served direct from the Gurt Wings van; drinks are available from our bar as usual. It’s the perfect excuse to gather friends and family, grab a pint, and make an evening of it.

What to Expect from Gurt Wings

If you’ve not met them yet, Gurt Wings are the West Country wing slingers, obsessed (in the best possible way) with fried chicken:
